Industrial Phycology are providers of innovative and cutting edge technology for removal of Phosphorous, Ammonia and trace contaminants from wastewater. In a recently published article in WWT magazine we explain the challenges associated with achieving the ever lowering consents for Phosphorous in final effluent discharges. How this has been historically achieved using harmful and expensive chemicals. We also look to the future where I-Phyc having made huge advances, are able to use algae effectively, safely and at a lower cost than these old technologies.
