Dr. Dan Murray, who founded the company in 2012 and now the company’s CTO, has decided to re-focus his incredible talents in other areas of algal science and will be leaving full-time employment at I-Phyc.

Dan had the foresight, drive and ambition to develop a revolutionary new process for removing pollutants from wastewater by enhancing the way in which algae can be used. Eventually resulting in a natural, patented, commercial, carbon negative, high-tech, environmentally sustainable product. Along the way, Dan raised a considerable amount of grant money and then brought in investment funding from institutions and private investors. The company are extremely grateful to him for launching us on our way, and for helping us get to the stage where we have commercial products operating in the UK water industry.

Fortunately, the company will retain Dan’s expertise as a part-time consultant.
